Account Manager (Wireless Infrastructure Network)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales target assigned by the company
  • Develop and grow the Service Providers and new Enterprise business opportunity
  • Generate and support sales opportunities from commercial perspective and respond to RFQ/RFPs
  • Negotiate with prospects and accounts to close business
  • He/She is required to develop, manage and maintain strong account relationships with the customers. Additionally, he/she is also expected to work cross-organizationally to co-ordinate pre-sales, professional services and support resources to drive successful solutions for customers.
  • Provide sales report and formulate sales pipeline for each customer account.

Requirement

  • Minimum Diploma with 5 years experiences in Telecom and Enterprise sales OR 3 years experiences with a Degree in Computer Science/Business Administration.

Network Engineer (Post Sales Support), Project & Service Management

Job Responsibilities:

  • To provide engineering support activities remotely or onsite. Rotational 24 x 7 standby duties required.
  • To provide professional services including project management, implementations, testing, migrations, and system documentation for projects.
  • To provide periodic preventive maintenance on customers’ systems.
  • Offer technical advices to customers and follow up on trouble tickets till a satisfactory solution is concluded.

Service Manager

Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as primary interface and customer advocate for key customers on service delivery and ensure in accordance to the SLA obligations. Manage customer expectations and perceptions to secure customer satisfaction in relation to deliverables and act as feedback channel for the customers to the company management team.
  • To provide customers weekly and monthly report on the trouble ticket status and progress. Organise and coordinate monthly and quarterly metric reporting and presentations on trouble tickets, hardware quality, trending reports to customers’ management team.
  • Work closely and coordinate with the technical team and product vendor during an emergency. Ensure proper escalation internally as well as within vendor organisation.
  • Proactive in engaging customers on key issues and to provide the customer management and company management team with progress updates till a satisfactory closure.
  • Provide proactive updates to customers on product related matters such as product defects, vulnerabilities, product end of life, as and when received from product vendor. To organise and coordinate meetings for all parties when necessary and follow through.
  • Maintain rapport and familiarity with customer and vendor personnel, as well as with relevant business practices, processes and procedures.
  • Work closely with technical manager to improve day to day operational efficiencies, continue to improve customer service experience, and increase customer satisfaction.
  • To formulate new service strategies and deliverables to complement existing service offerings.

Requirement:

  • Tertiary Education in Data Communications or Computer Engineering or related customer service field.
  • Experience in technical support service delivery, network operations or project management within the telecom industry and good understanding of operator processes.
  • Experience in managing SLAs, understanding portfolio and relationship to service delivery, and able to handle situations when customer demand services beyond scope of contract.
  • Diligent in documentation, reporting and tasks tracking ability.
  • Strong customer support attitude to drive customer satisfaction and a proven background in managing customers.

Systems Engineer (Wireless Infrastructure Network)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop Process Documents for factory in the list below:
    • receipt of radio parts / accessories from suppliers,
    • assembly of Radio Parts / Accessories into complete Radio Terminal,
    • testing of complete Radio Terminal connected in Links / Hops,
    • QA on tested Radio Hops,
    • packing of Radio Hops into boxes for shipment to customer.
  • Assemble parts send by supplier/s in Semi Knock Down (SKD) modules & built them into full radio terminals accordingly to customer BOM & configuration.
  • Develop Test Procedure/s for radios assembled in factory.
  • Identify the necessary adaptors, test jig & accessories to setup and test up to 5 microwave hops of various frequencies from 4GHz to 38GHz.
  • Troubleshoot technical faults detected during testing stage and recommend preventive measures.
  • Perform new product feasibility studies and develop process control specifications.
  • Interact and communicate with supply chain, regional colleagues and other external parties to ensure co-ordination of activities during customer factory visit.
  • Carry out field maintenance activities as per customers’ requirements.
  • Will perform real time 7 X 24 escalations to help facilitate timely and accurate resolution of implementation and repair issues.
  • Manning technical helpdesk as well as handle and resolve technical issues.
  • Manage customer expectations and perceptions to secure customer satisfaction in relation to SLA deliverables and serve as the feedback channel for the customer to Nera Management team.
  • Deal with trial and proof of concept (POC).
  • Resource for technical information after sales process. Participates and project manages, as required, during complex installs.
  • Supervision of implementation activities including hands-on when necessary.
  • Will lend expertise for responses to proposals; specifically addresses any items on RFPs pertaining to how Nera Telecommunications performs maintenance, change management and proactive monitoring on products including generating all kinds of documents suited for customers’ distribution.
  • Any other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor / Management.

Requirement

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering or Electronics & Communications Engineering.
  • Technically competent with minimum 5 years’ experience in RF, microwave technology and IP networking.
  • Good track record of success in installation and maintenance of microwave links and IP networks.
  • Fluency with MS Office product suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
  • Good experience in microwave backhaul and antennas.
  • Good exposure to path loss software to perform link, network and interference analysis.
  • Good experience in NMS and IP networking.
  • Knowledge in operating test equipment for TDM, SDH and Ethernet.
  • Self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
